SYNOPSIS

In the Patagonian Archipelago in South Chile, a team of scientists turn cave hunters in search of a legendary prehistoric whale.

In the Patagonian Archipelago in South Chile, lies the island of Madre de Dios facing the South Pacific. The island conceals a number of natural caves carved into the limestone. A team of cave hunters are back on this island in search of a legendary cave of the size of Paris’ Cathedral Notre-Dame which they first discovered 8 years ago holding the remains of whales. Following this expedition we travel by sea and on land, discovering the harsh beauties of this island facing the Ocean, visiting some of the oldest Forest on earth and the rare remains of the nomad people of the sea , the kawésquar which once lived there.
