SYNOPSIS

A journey among the treasures of the legendary 4000 year old capital city of Mesopatamia

A journey among the treasures of the first great capital, both cursed city and birthplace of a fascinating civilization, exctinct 3000 years ago and rediscovered in the early 20th century. We travel through 5 000 years of history with Salam Jawad, a young woman iconographer of Iraqui extraction, who gathers information about this mythical city for an online encyclopedia she is participating to. In her company, we meet people who explored this henceforth inaccessible site, like Beatrice Andre Salvini of the Louvre museum, one of the rare person in the world able to read "fluent" babylonian or Joachim Marzahn, curator at the Pergamon museum of Berlin where stands the famous Ishtar Gate.
