LOST WARRIORS OF THE CLOUDS

On April 12th 1997, in Peru, two tomb-raiders crawled into a cliff-face cave overlooking a lake called “The Lake of Condors”. They had just brought to light an important Pre-Columbian site, perhaps one of the most important discoveries of the century. The Peruvian authorities were immediately notified, and in August 1997 a major archeological expedition was sent to the site, under the leadership of Dr Sonia Guillen. More than 200 intact mummies and a countless number of other objects were extracted from this ancient mausoleum, dating back over 500 years.
