Waking Up Around the World invites us to share the life of children worldwide from the moment they wake up to their arrival at school. Following step by step the daily routine of girls and boys aged from 6 to 10 is a fascinating and enlightening experience. Looking at things from their level and their point of view opens up a new window on the world using a documentary style at once both fun and complicit with our child subjects. Everyone has to get up in the morning! But not everyone does the same things, depending on if they live in the rich neighbourhoods of San Francisco, the heart of the taiga or in the midst of the Malian desert.
