SYNOPSIS
The History Visitor is a factual program that talks about history in an original way by showing live the daily existence of people from long-ago times.
The History Visitor is a factual program that talks about history in an original way by showing live the daily existence of people from long-ago times.
Each installment sees a TV presenter embedded for three days in an entirely reconstructed moment in history. He is going to learn about the life in a 1450 Normandy seigneury, live with the crew of an 18th century pirate ship, mingle in the ranks a phalanx of Roman centurions as they lay siege to Alesia and experience the famous battle of Waterloo from the ground.
This immersion in the past will enable the TV audience to understand an historical event as if they were there and experience what life in society was like at the time.
