THE ENIGMA OF THE CELTIC TOMB

2500 Years ago, a dynasty of Celtic Princes founded the first towns in Northern Europe. They constructed harbours along rivers and traded goods with people from all over Europe. This Celtic Golden Age bears testimony to the intense trade and rich cross influences that existed between Celtic, Greek and Etruscan cultures. The film brings us to France, Germany, Italy, Greece and Turkey in search of traces of this prominent Dynasty, and maps out as never before the considerable Celtic influence across Europe. Thanks to exclusive access to the Celtic Tomb in Lavau (France) and the exceptionally rich and well-preserved collection of objects found on the gravesite, the history of their origins can now be revealed.
