SYNOPSIS

After 2 years of preparation, Régis Belleville is about to cross one of the most arid deserts of the planet: the Majâbat al-Koubrâ also called the desert of deserts. This damned territory, which in Arabic means "expanse of great solitude", is inhabited by the Djinns who, within living memory, will prevent anybody who venture in their territory from returning.

"In the desert, to live means first to be perpetually on the move" Théodore Monod

During his 1150 km long trek across the desert of dunes of sand, Régis Belleville along with N'Taha Ould Bouessif his camel driver and eight camels, won’t meet any well or water hole. They will have to live in total autonomy and will have to face an extremely hostile environment.
