SYNOPSIS

"At a time of overfishing and growing concern about the future of oceans, this film tells the story of Albert Falco pioneer and key witness of the first major underwater explorations as captured in the acclaimed movie The Silent World. A lifetime's adventure that began in the 1950’s with Commandant Cousteau on board the Calypso. As Captain of the Calypso and Cousteau's loyal second-in-command, this scuba diving veteran was the first man to experience life underwater in a diving station. Through his diaries, his encounters, photos and personal film archives, he tells us of the great history of underwater exploration, shares his passion for the sea and confirms his unwavering fight to preserve it. Albert Falco died at 85 just a couple of months after the shooting of this film.
