A YEAR AT THE ZOO

Settled in the heart of a former troglodyte quarry, this huge zoo, located in the west of France, is a unique place : 70 animal species live there, 40 among them are endangered spieces. In this new project, Thierry Machado, who directed numerous wild life documentaries, will stay in the Zoo during one year in order to describe the every day life of the staff. The daily life in the zoo, headed by Pierre Gay, is punctuated by highly dramatic and moving events, such as the death of the old giraffe or the birth of cheetah twins...
