SYNOPSIS
Summer 1926, love at first sight in Saint-Malo. Elisabeth, a young woman from Brittany, marries Nahim Zihai the cousin of the king of Afghanistan. But as the couple sets off for Kabul, the progressive king is overthrown. For the next 40 years Elisabeth fights to support the emancipation of women in her adopted country. A unique destiny and the portrait of an adventurous woman who dedicated her life to change the fate of Afghan women.
